Primary Objectives
This position is being created to grow our originations nationwide. The primary objective is to build and maintain relationships that will produce commercial loan originations on a national scale. The Production Executive will also be responsible for overseeing the marketing team.
Duties and Responsibilities
This individual will be responsible for optimizing marketing leads as well as maintaining a fluent knowledge of our multiple lending programs and lending institutions, including current guidelines, underwriting assumptions and lending parameters. Candidate would be responsible for their own time management, building their own client database as well as leads generated from the marketing division and associates. Maintaining a consistent amount of originated deals and seeing them through to closing.
1. Generating and maintaining leads
Employee would need to develop a system for entry level lead generation. He/she would also need to build based off of potential property owners, brokers, potential purchasers, and syndication groups.
- Targeting specific territories and setting up appointments with multiple shops
- Develop Email and phone marketing plans to gain specific clients
- Build and maintain a client database
- Develop a consistent pipeline of business
- Set quarterly goals for fee volume and originations.
2. Borrower and property analysis
PE would need the knowledge to properly analyze information from both the borrower and the property to assess the probably of obtaining financing as well as finding the proper lending product(s) to suit the clients goals.
- Perform a net worth and liquidity analysis to ensure the prospective borrower can meet or exceed the parameters set forth by the specific lending institution
- Analyze the property data, including cash flow analysis, to ensure the property in question can debt cover under the requested loan amount.
- Work with analyst to obtain market data for purposes of summaries
3. Registering and loan procedures
PE will need to maintain communication with both client and lending institution throughout the entire loan process through closing. Must be able to act and follow through quickly as the need arises to ensure a smooth process with minimal encumbrance of the borrower.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree in sales and marketing preferred
- 3-5 years of marketing experience
- Strong Communication Skills
- Candidate must have previous knowledge of commercial finance and lending criteria
- Must be able to produce example of past successes in commercial finance in the last year
