Primary Objectives
To build and analyze targeted direct customer campaigns. Optimize the ROI of the marketing strategy by ensuring that customer targeting tactics are appropriate for achieving revenue objectives in the most cost effective manner possible and effectively utilizing those tactics to produce increased sales potential.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position is being created to produce, plan, and execute a detailed marketing campaign to introduce Huff McDermott to new MSAs across the country in an effort to increase sales volume. This position will evaluate the following campaign design and will then utilize the following three categories to outline and define the details in obtaining the defined objectives. (Pre-Campaign Analysis, Marketing Campaign Design, Post Campaign Analysis).
1. Pre-Campaign Analysis
Support the annual and ongoing marketing planning process by proactively performing in-depth, what-if analysis to identify campaign opportunities in addition to the initial targeted marketing plan stated in this job description. Based on findings, make recommendations to company Partners on who (segment, sub-segment, select criteria) should be targeted/not targeted, what products should be marketed where, and which channels should be utilized.
2. Marketing Campaign Design
Establish and utilize campaign design plan as approved by President. Serve as campaign management "power user" for team, developing campaign framework for testing, reporting, and analysis. Responsibilities include:
- Translate campaign brief requirements into campaign design specifications
- Create, set up, maintain, and utilize campaign templates
- Work to identify and implement offer, personalization, timing, and channel tests. In addition, identify, implement and own segmentation testing. Analyze results and communicate findings and future actions with the team.
- Generate campaign contact history and vendor execution files.
- Establish and apply processes for ensuring quality work product (accuracy of vendor execution lists, campaign contact history data, etc.)
3. Post-Campaign Analysis
- Use tests to develop insights, recommendations and reports for the team to evaluate success of campaign. Proactively surface sales and marketing opportunities at both the tactical campaign and strategic business levels.
- Analyze campaign history, response, and other campaign-related data to determine the effectiveness of individual campaigns and campaign programs (multiple campaigns) relative to established goals, such as response, retention, revenue, profitability, etc.
- Assess the effectiveness of marketing mix components such as channel, product and creative content. Based on results of analysis, make recommendations regarding refinement of future campaigns.
- Work to drive in-depth analysis that identifies opportunities to generate revenue and cut costs through potential new markets, monitoring customer shifts, purchasing patterns, etc.
Quotas & Strategies and Additional Accountabilities:
- Collect and analyze market research data to evaluate potential sites and markets for commercial development
- Manage and maintain demographics, competition and market information for pipeline and operating properties
- Prepare marketing materials and presentations for prospect development.
- Maintain library of industry trends and news
- The Marketing Director shall meet once a week with the Principals of Huff McDermott to discuss the targeted MSAs, Call Volume quotas, and the specific marketing strategies planned for that week.
- Quotas for each day will be at least 50 new contacts
- Prepare a marketing package insert to give to prospective brokers for their information to showcase our company and options.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree in marketing preferred
- 3-5 years of marketing experience
- Experience in the financial industry preferred
- Strong Communication Skills
