James Huff, Senior Principal of Huff McDermott, came into the mortgage and financial consulting industry in 1999. He quickly developed a passion for learning and understanding the commercial real estate industry. Throughout his years of experience in financing commercial and residential properties in the Midwest area, Mr. Huff has developed a thorough knowledge of the most current property values and financial trends of the Midwest and the surrounding areas.

James has currently completed the Third leg of the CCIM institute designation and has started the process for his Certified Mortgage Banker designation. This is just a few of the many steps to maintain the knowledge needed to provide his clients the best service possible.

Outside of the business world, James has developed a love for golf and travel. He spends most of his extra time with his wife Stephanie and adoring son and daughter. With his business and family supporting him, James has had the opportunity to create many trustworthy relationships within the Midwest financial circuit. Matt McDermott, a Principal and Operations Manager of HuffMcDermott, Co-founded the company to create an environment where real estate investors of all types would be met with the very best financing options and personal service available. He is responsible for sourcing, structuring and underwriting all types of commercial and multi-family real estate transactions as well as overseeing all originations and implementing company policy.
